The heart can lead us to glory but it can also lead us astray. Jen Lane bares her heart and shares a bittersweet story of crazy love with her latest single, “Fools”. Lane shines with soaring vocals on “Fools”, in which the lyrics come off sincere and heartfelt as she tones down the bright country sheen to just a hint of twang and lets the song breathe.

That’s what makes true country music so special: it’s about life. You don’t feel like you’re listening to someone who isn’t comfortable in their own skin. Being an artist takes some skills and musically, Lane has some well-sharpened claws.

Jen Lane “This Life of Mine” has produced 7 successful singles so far including “Shoe“, “Movin On“, “This Life of Mine“, “My Man“, “Never Try To Love You”, “Happy” and “Waitin For You”. Lane was nominated for a 2017 Western Canadian Music Award for Roots Solo Artist of the Year, and was also nominated for a Saskatchewan Country Music Award for Roots Artist of the Year. Lane was selected to perform at SXSW in 2017
and MerleFest in North Carolina in April 2018.

Lane toured across the country numerous times to promote “This Life of Mine“, which charted on National College Radio for over 24 weeks, including reaching #1 on the National Earshot Folk/Roots chart. It also garnered substantial radio play on Commercial Country, CBC, and Satellite Radio, and she performed on dozens of television shows across the country.
